Finally! I am so excited to tell you that booking is now open for fbi2011! After a mammoth struggle to acquaint myself with google documents, find and edit a template, then preparing to upload, I found that said template could not be embedded into a page! I guess that will teach me to check first for future forays into web designing hehe! But I sure am learning…and stepping out into unknown areas! Grateful thanks to my friend Tandy for all the help yesterday and today 🙂 I appreciate it very much. Pop over to the Booking page and fill in the form. To avoid disappointment do it now. There are only 100 seats available for the event.

The format of the Indaba has changed. The morning will be taken up with presentations and talks, the afternoon with workshops and breakaway groups. Make sure that if you are interested in any of the workshops that you fill in, on the drop down menu, which one would interest you most. The food styling and photography workshops are limited to only 15 bloggers per workshop so definitely first come first served. Once they are filled up I will announce that fact. I have a couple of little surprises up my sleeve that I will try and save till the very end but as other stuff unfolds I will continue to update and post on the blog.

The cost of tickets to this event is R740. Once you have registered you will receive an email from PayFast secure online banking requesting payment. Please pay within 48 hours to ensure that your seat is booked. Unpaid bookings will NOT be guaranteed. For this fully inclusive price you will get a full days conference with workshops, food and refreshments, sparkling wine and orange juice on arrival, wine with lunch, tea and coffee breaks, stuffed goodie bags and fabulous give-aways. Make sure you are able to stay on for a while after the event as there will be a time to socialize and get to know your fellow bloggers better at the end of the day, over cocktails while watching the sun setting over the Atlantic Ocean. There will be a cash satellite bar available so do bring extra moola along with you 🙂 I am also hoping that I will be able to hold an auction of a few products to raise funds for the Nosh4Noah campaign at the end of the day.

I am still waiting for confirmation from a few of my chosen speakers so will hold off for a day or two before announcing them to you, and also the agenda.

And now………my very first blog giveaway! EVER!! How exciting. And a very special thank you to one of my fabulous sponsors

for coming on board with an awesome registration give-away of their new Venus Large Silicon Spatula, valued at R116,  for every booking made. Your spatula will be tucked away in your goodie bag!

Thank you Jamie and Gill 🙂

Right, enough excitement for one blog post I think. Why don’t you pop straight over to the booking page and do your thing? I look forward to meeting every one of you at fbi 2011!!

Colleen xx
